Regional Water Authority has opened registration for Sacramento Regional Water Bank’s fourth Stakeholder Forum on February 4 at 6:00 p.m. During this session, we’ll highlight Sacramento Regional Water Bank activities from this past year and detail what’s ahead for 2025. This will be an online meeting, held virtually via Zoom, and you can now register here. We hope you can join us.
The forum will cover the basics of how the Water Bank works, who’s involved, and its benefits for the region. Participants will hear updates on planning and coordination efforts, including documents and agreements that guide the Water Bank’s operations. The session will also explain the Water Bank’s environmental review process, including progress on the Draft Environmental Impact Report, and what to expect as work continues in 2025. Updates will be provided on the nearly complete Water Accounting System, which will help manage and track water banking to support long-term groundwater sustainability.
If you haven’t had a chance to attend previous engagement events, the recordings and information from earlier Stakeholder Forums can be found here.
