Local water managers have identified a comprehensive water resilience portfolio—called WaterFuture—to address the impacts of climate change on our region’s water supply and environment.
The Sacramento Regional Water Bank is a vital component of the WaterFuture portfolio.
Additional strategies encompass our entire supershed—from the mountain tops of the American River watershed to the groundwater basin below the urban floor—and include a suite of projects all focused on addressing the climate change threats of flood, fire and drought.
