The Regional Water Authority (RWA) has officially noticed its intent to proceed with a public scoping process for the Sacramento Regional Water Bank (Water Bank). Under the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), RWA is preparing an Environmental Impact Report (EIR) for the Project.

On October 10 and 11, 2023, the Regional Water Authority held public scoping meetings for the Water Bank. A recording of the presentation given at the October 11, 2023, meeting is available here.
